- Dr. Hoburg got her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut in May of 2000, and her B.S. from the University of Washington in May of 1991.
- Dr. Hoburg has been trained in strengths-based, constructivist, cognitive-behavioral, and family system approaches. She also has training in Motivational Enhancement, Relapse Prevention, and Solution-Focused Therapies.
- An Adjunct Clinical Faculty member of the Greater Hartford Clinical Psychology Internship Consortium, Dr. Hoburg provides consultation to psychology interns and presents yearly seminars on matters relevant to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex clients.
- Dr. Hoburg is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA). She has made presentations on working with bisexual and intersex clients at the APA National Convention.
